1st things 1st
okay, someone please tell me how to add links on the sidebar. i feel like a complete dunce, but i am not figuring it out. kthanks. i want to be connected to my other blogging friends. and can i just say how much i dislike the word 'blog'? i know it is merely an aphaeresis of weblog, which i think sounds much better. the word just kinda grosses me out. why couldn't they, whoever they are, have called it a web journal (bjourn, pronounced kinda like bjork, just sayin' that sounds pretty suave to me) or even an e-journal. anything other than blog...actually, i'm gonna start referring to it as weblog. full name. i like it better. unless the bjourn thing takes off, then i'll call it that, otherwise, no one would know what i was talking about.

i don't particularly like "blog" either. it sounds like a euphemism for "vomit" to me (not to mention "vlog"). "bjourn" on the other hand sounds far more fancy-pants.
alright, on blogger's dashboard there should be a "template" link. click that and on the next page there should be a "customize" tab. that'll take you to a mock-up of your bjourn's layout. on the left, where your sidebar is, there'll be a link that says "add page element" or something to that effect at the top. if you click that, a pop-up window will give you some options. you want "link list" of course. once you've added that, it'll appear on the sidebar with an "edit" link, which you can open and then add your links.

question: do you mind that on my links i've got "she holds her breath"? i like it, but i didn't ask permission. so i can change it back if you like.
Very good point, Ali. The word "blog" really stinks...matter of fact, so does "stink" but I don't like "sucks" either. You've done a good job of renaming blogs...ejournal works. Now we just need to figure out a good term for when things stink. :)
